For Commission managers

Work out what your team actually needs — before you decide what to organise.

Team Compass is the first half-hour with a good organisational-development adviser. It listens to your situation, tells you what it understood, asks a few sharp questions, and then explains what it would suggest and why — including when the honest answer is that a team event is not the right response.

Start a consultationAround twenty minutes, in one sitting.

How it works

  1. Tell us what is going on

Describe the situation in your own words, and tick a few facts about the team. About four minutes.

  2. We reflect it back

You see what we heard, correct anything we got wrong, and answer up to six short questions.

  3. You get a picture and your options

What your team seems to need, two or three realistic ways forward compared side by side, and a named next step.

What it will not do

It does not book anything, replace a conversation with your team, or judge how you manage. Where the situation calls for mediation, wellbeing support or a conversation about workload, it says so and points you to the right colleagues.
